Meditation and mindfulness classes
Meditation is a practice where an individual uses a technique – such as mindfulness or focusing their mind on a particular object, thought or activity to train attention and awareness and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state. It is a means of transforming the mind.

By engaging with a particular meditation practice you learn the patterns and habits of your mind, and the practice offers a means to cultivate new, more positive ways of being. Meditation may be used with the aim of reducing stress, anxiety, depression, and pain, and increasing peace, perception, self-concept, and well-being and it can be just as positive for a child as it is for an adult.
