If your child struggles socially, finds it difficult to make or maintain friendships, worries often, gets easily stressed, struggles to control their temper, has/is self-harming, has suffered any type of bereavement or trauma or generally you find them to be very sensitive - then these sessions are perfect for them.
We understand no child is the same, some have very different needs to the next and because of this there is no “one size fits all” in the way of mental health support. Our sessions will be designed specifically around the children who attend, with a mixture of mental health and emotional resilience learning, opportunities to build on their social and communication skills and some arts and crafts thrown in for fun - each child will gain invaluable knowledge and applicable skills that will help them through any issues they may be facing or have to face in the future.
There are only ever 12 children at a time on each age category, so for any children who are socially anxious it is a smaller, more intimate group.
This fee is for a one hour assesment with your child before they attend our mental health and resilience building workshop sessions on Thursday's at 4.30pm-5.30pm.
In this assesment a therpist will determine the support your child needs so they can get the most from the weekly sessions.
On payment we will contact you to arrange a time/day for the assesment.
The weekly fee for attending the workshops following the assesment is £10 per session. This must be paid on arrival with your child.
